In essence, Blower Door Testing (also known as an Envelope Leakage Test) measures how much air enters or leaves a building through windows, doors and other accessible areas. Most blower door testing in Florida is performed for new construction; starting in July of 2017 all new homes are required to pass in order to meet energy code.
